BEFORE THERE WAS I AM WILL...
There was a mother who understood what it felt like to struggle, to need help, and to be judged.
After rebuilding her own life, Chetekia Morris made a decision: she would use what she had lived through to help others find hope, stability, and the resources they needed to rebuild their lives.
In 2011, that decision became I AM WILL.
What began with a borrowed $2,000 and a vision to help others has grown into a lasting legacy of housing, support, community connections, and more than 1,000 lives impacted.

REFERRAL INFORMATION
Before submitting a referral, please review the information below to help determine whether I AM WILL may be an appropriate housing option for the individual you are referring.
BEFORE REFERRING
I AM WILL may be appropriate for adults who:
✓ Are experiencing homelessness or housing instability
✓ Need a safe, stable, supportive living environment
✓ Can live in a community-based residential setting
✓ Are working toward greater stability and independence
✓ Can benefit from connections to behavioral health, supportive, and community-based services
IMPORTANT PLACEMENT INFORMATION
I AM WILL provides supportive, community-based housing. Residents must be able to safely live in a residential setting and independently evacuate the home in the event of an emergency.
Individuals who require assistance with personal care, medication management, or other ongoing support may still be considered when appropriate services are arranged through an outside provider.
Placement is determined individually based on the person’s needs, safety, available supports, and current housing availability.
REFERRAL PROCESS
To make a referral:

Complete the I AM WILL referral form.

Provide available supporting documentation regarding the individual’s needs and current situation.

Our team will review the referral and determine whether I AM WILL may be an appropriate placement.
